Before You Come Along – A Few Things to Try 🎭 You don’t need any comedy experience — just bring yourself and a willingness to have a go. If you want to get the most out of the session, here are a few things you can do beforehand: 👀 Watch some stand-up comedy Spend some time watching different comedians and notice what makes you laugh. Think about: What type of comedy do you enjoy? Do you like storytelling, one-liners, observations, characters, or something else? How do comedians use their voice, timing, and expressions? ✍️ Start collecting ideas Great comedy often comes from everyday life. Before the session, think about: Funny things that have happened to you Strange things you have noticed Things that annoy you or make you laugh Embarrassing moments that you can now see the funny side of 📱 Keep a note of ideas Bring a notebook or use your phone to write down any thoughts, funny observations, or stories that come to mind.
